MR2's water pump grenaded this past week.  This marks the first time in 10 years that the MR2 has actually left me on the side of the road.  So, I have some choices to make. 

1) Do I just fix the water pump in the driveway, or do I take the engine out and move ahead with a more serious refresh?

2) Do I find a $500 beater for a month and then sell again once the '2 is up and running again, or do I go ahead and pick up a second vehicle that I will keep for a while and use the MR2 to play?
